Mediators are trained men and women who aim to assist people resolve their difficulties.  

They do not advise those in dispute, but help participants to communicate with one another, without making judgements about the rights and wrongs of issues.  

They will help all involved find ways forward without having a say in the outcome of the process.

They will not tell anyone else what has been said.
